Immediate opening: we are hiring a shuttering and concrete hand in Irion County, Texas. The job is at a precast concrete yard. Requirements: • Able to work to tight pour schedules and night pours • Comfortable working at heights and on scaffolds Day-to-day duties: • Carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab • Screed and level slabs to the marked dead level and falls • Give broom or steel-trowel finishes as specified • Cut control and expansion joints at the correct spacing • Load, hoist and barrow concrete to the upper floors • Erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour We offer $2,700 per month plus benefits.
