Turning centre operator — Monroe County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a turning centre operator in Monroe County, Georgia. Ideal candidate: • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred Your main tasks: • Measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers • Load and index turning tools in the turret • Write and edit G-code programs at the control • Read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances • Top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed Six days a week, one day off.
