Foundry labourer wanted in Meade County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a foundry labourer in Meade County, South Dakota. You will work at a brass and bronze foundry. Day to day you will prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes; check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring; assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together; carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts Six days a week, one day off.
