Elevator service technician • Newton County, Arkansas

Vacancy available: we are hiring an elevator service technician in Newton County, Arkansas. Day-to-day duties: • Test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake • Fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork • Fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments • Carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes • Adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy • Measure rope tension and check for broken strands You should have: • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways Full-time with occasional weekends.
