Your main tasks: • Attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks • Direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio • Take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings • Check sling angles to stay within the working load limit • Guide loads through tight openings into their final position Ideal candidate: • Confident with standard crane hand signals • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles Overtime paid at a premium rate.
