We are recruiting: beldar (Scotland)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a beldar in Shetland Islands, Scotland. You will be based on a residential housing site. On the job you will handle: • Stack and store materials safely to avoid wastage • Clear debris and sweep the slab before the next pour • Cure freshly laid concrete by sprinkling water for several days • Hand tools and materials up to workers on the upper floors • Fix and strip shuttering and formwork for beams and columns • Wheel barrows of rubble to the skip and keep the site clean What we are looking for: • Punctual and ready to do overtime when a pour demands it • Site safety induction or labour card an advantage • Wear safety helmet, boots and gloves at all times 4+ years on the tools preferred.
