Urgent requirement: we are hiring a meat cutter in Starke County, Indiana. You will be based in a meat processing plant. The role involves vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders; weigh, price and label cuts for the display case; trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts; keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools. You should have: • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. $140 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
