Sheet metal welder — Sheridan County

Join our team: we are hiring a sheet metal welder in Sheridan County, Montana. You will work at a busy fabrication workshop. The role involves read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing; keep the arc length and travel speed consistent; grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish; TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer; select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel; tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run. What we are looking for: • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
