Immediate opening: aluminium TIG welder (Michigan)

Now hiring: we are hiring an aluminium TIG welder in Otsego County, Michigan. You will be based at a busy fabrication workshop. Your main tasks: • Grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish • Clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush • Weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through • Sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard We offer $4,100 per month plus benefits.
