Cnc turning machinist wanted in Contra Costa County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a cnc turning machinist in Contra Costa County, California. On a typical shift you will run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles; set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54); write and edit G-code programs at the control; deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand; watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes; set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets. Requirements: • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T Full-time with occasional weekends.
