Vacancy available: we are hiring a tig welder in Lanier County, Georgia. The job is at a precision engineering workshop. Ideal candidate: • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Own basic hand tools and PPE Day-to-day duties: • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal • Select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
