Join our team: we are hiring a pipe tig welder in Northeastern Connecticut Planning Region, Connecticut. Day to day you will set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal; select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job; grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper; read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters; feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle. Requirements: • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Own basic hand tools and PPE Pay around $15 per hour, based on your experience. Performance bonus on top of base pay.
