Urgent requirement: we are hiring a sheet metal welder in Polk County, Arkansas. You will be based at a pipe-fitting and pressure-vessel shop. You should have: • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage The role involves tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run; strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal; set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks; TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer. 1+ years on the tools preferred.
