Fire and safety officer — Dundy County

Join our team: we are hiring a fire and safety officer in Dundy County, Nebraska. On a typical shift you will verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates; inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height; update the risk register and method statements (RAMS); run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry; carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift; take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry. Ideal candidate: • Able to read and prepare RAMS and method statements • Physically fit for full-site inspections on foot Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
