Roofing labourer • Crawford County, Iowa

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a roofing labourer in Crawford County, Iowa. You will be based at a sheet metal roofing workshop. On a typical shift you will insulate and ventilate the roof void; fix clay and concrete tiles onto the battens; nail down asphalt shingles in staggered courses; erect and dismantle roof edge protection and scaffolding; strip old shingles and felt back down to the deck; bed and point ridge tiles with mortar. What we are looking for: • Confident working at height on ladders and scaffolds • Working-at-height or scaffold safety certificate • Knowledge of both pitched and flat roofing systems Part-time with flexible hours.
