Tandoor cook — Bedford County

Join our team: we are hiring a tandoor cook in Bedford County, Tennessee. You will be based in a catering banquet kitchen. Ideal candidate: • Food hygiene / FoSTaC certificate • Strong knife skills and speed on the line • Familiar with North Indian, tandoor and continental cooking Your main tasks: • Manage the tandoor and skewer kebabs • Keep the station clean and sanitised throughout the shift • Knead dough and bake breads such as roti, naan and paratha • Taste and adjust seasoning for consistency • Follow cleaning schedules and wash down work surfaces • Cook dishes to order on the grill, fry and sauté stations Six days a week, one day off.
