Steel fixing chargehand — Furnas County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a steel fixing chargehand in Furnas County, Nebraska. The job is on an infrastructure project such as a metro or flyover. Your main tasks: • Install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat • Tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers • Cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder • Keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust • Set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift What we are looking for: • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
