Excavator operator wanted in James City County

Join our team: we are hiring an excavator operator in James City County, Virginia. You will work at a drainage and utilities contractor. The role involves: • Keep the cab clean and oil-free and report defects promptly • Inspect tracks, bucket teeth and pins for wear before start-up • Work to laser, GPS or 2D/3D machine-control guidance • Work safely around buried services with a banksman or spotter Ideal candidate: • Sound understanding of daily maintenance and greasing • Good awareness of underground services and exclusion zones • Able to read drawings, setting-out pegs and level pegs Six days a week, one day off.
