HGV driver — Franklin County

Now hiring: we are hiring a HGV driver in Franklin County, New York. You will be based at a haulage company. You will couple and uncouple the trailer and check the fifth-wheel lock; present documents at weighbridges and check posts; operate tail-lifts and pump trucks during loading and unloading; check tyre pressures, engine oil, coolant and brake fluid levels; reverse and carry out blind-side manoeuvres at loading bays; secure loads with ratchet straps, chains and load bars. What we are looking for: • Valid digital tachograph card • Confident with manual handling and load securing • Clean driving record with no recent endorsements Six days a week, one day off.
