We are recruiting: we are hiring a groundskeeper in Matagorda County, Texas. The job is at a private estate garden. Ideal candidate: • Previous experience as a gardener or in grounds maintenance • Able to safely operate mowers, strimmers and hedge trimmers • Understanding of pruning and watering schedules Day to day you will water beds and lawns and set up drip irrigation lines; weed flower beds and borders by hand and with a hoe; apply fertiliser, compost and mulch to beds; cut back tree branches and clear overhanging limbs; lay turf and oversow bare patches of lawn.
