Great opportunity: we are hiring a car mechanic in Southeast Fairbanks Census Area, Alaska. You will be based at a busy car service centre. The role involves replace brake pads, discs and callipers; recharge and service the air-conditioning system; carry out oil and filter changes; road-test vehicles to confirm the repair; read fault codes and clear them after the repair; replace shock absorbers, ball joints and track-rod ends. You should have: • Sound knowledge of petrol and diesel engines • Valid driving licence • Able to read wiring diagrams and workshop manuals At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time, day shift.
