GMAW welder — Lawrence County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a GMAW welder in Lawrence County, South Dakota. You will work at a pipe and tank fabrication yard. The role involves: • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding Requirements: • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
