Reinforcement fitter — Kafur

We are recruiting: we are hiring a reinforcement fitter in Kafur, Katsina State. You will be based on a busy residential building site. Requirements: • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites Day to day you will keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust; cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder; fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings; form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions; lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors; fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover.
