Great opportunity: vacuum press operator (Colorado)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a vacuum press operator in Logan County, Colorado. You will be based in a busy laundry. On a typical shift you will spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts; hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing; keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure; check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots; set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics; sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number. Requirements: • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
