Sheet metal welder — Orleans Parish

Immediate opening: we are hiring a sheet metal welder in Orleans Parish, Louisiana. The role involves set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks; TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer; weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through; strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal. You should have: • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. $2,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
