Urgent requirement: metal caster (Kentucky)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a metal caster in Livingston County, Kentucky. The job is at an aluminium die-casting plant. On the job you will handle: • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together • Fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant • Prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes What we are looking for: • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling Six days a week, one day off.
