Aluminium TIG welder — Roane County

Vacancy available: we are hiring an aluminium TIG welder in Roane County, West Virginia. Day-to-day duties: • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run • Feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool • Back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec • Weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through You should have: • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
