Join our team: we are hiring a rigging foreman in Surrey, England. You will be based in a steel fabrication yard. The role involves: • Fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads • Take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings • Inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use • Select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight • Rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position • Check sling angles to stay within the working load limit Requirements: • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket Rotating shifts.
