Steel fixing chargehand — Carlton County

Now hiring: we are hiring a steel fixing chargehand in Carlton County, Minnesota. You will work on a commercial tower construction site. Requirements: • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules Your main tasks: • Read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman • Set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift • Keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust Full-time with occasional weekends.
