Requirements: • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites The role involves: • Fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover • Bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine • Lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors • Cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder • Assemble column and beam cages on the bench Meals and transport allowance provided.
