Aluminium tig welder • Scott County, Virginia

We are recruiting: we are hiring an aluminium tig welder in Scott County, Virginia. The job is in a food and dairy equipment factory. What we are looking for: • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through On the job you will handle: • Select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper 2+ years on the tools preferred. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Six days a week, one day off. Contact us to fix an interview.
