Now hiring: we are hiring a sheet metal roofer in Ballard County, Kentucky. You will work at a sheet metal roofing workshop. The role involves hang box gutters and downpipes for rainwater; set out battens to the correct gauge and spacing; erect and dismantle roof edge protection and scaffolding; solder and seam standing-seam metal roof sheets; fix clay and concrete tiles onto the battens; replace cracked or slipped tiles and slates. You should have: • Knowledge of both pitched and flat roofing systems • Strong enough to lift tile packs and felt rolls all day • A good head for heights and steady balance Part-time with flexible hours.
