Vacancy available: we are hiring an occupational health and safety officer in Obion County, Tennessee. The job is at a busy construction site. Ideal candidate: • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot • Physically fit for full-site inspections on foot • Valid first aid and basic firefighting training You will inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height; run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry; stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action; record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date; carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift.
