You should have: • Own basic hand tools such as a utility knife and trowel • Confident using a gas torch to bond bituminous membrane Your main tasks: • Fit acoustic insulation to partition walls and floating floors • Seal gaps around windows, doors and service penetrations with sealant • Install fire-stopping and fire-rated insulation around penetrations • Carry out flood and water tests on waterproofed areas to check for leaks • Torch-on bituminous waterproofing membrane to flat roofs, basements and foundations • Install vapour barriers and seal all joints and overlaps with tape Meals and transport allowance provided.
