We are recruiting: restoration bricklayer (Alabama)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a restoration bricklayer in Winston County, Alabama. You will work at a residential building site. You should have: • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day Your main tasks: • Checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod • Building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses • Spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel • Building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation • Buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
