Mechanical press operator — Portsmouth

Vacancy available: we are hiring a mechanical press operator in Portsmouth, England. You will be based on the press shop floor. Requirements: • Physically fit to stand a full shift and lift blanks up to 20 kg • Attention to detail and steady hands for accurate loading • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred Day to day you will set up and change stamping dies and tooling; clear scrap and offcuts from the die area; deburr and stack finished components for the next operation; punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components.
