Domestic gas engineer — Clinton County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a domestic gas engineer in Clinton County, New York. Day-to-day duties: • Set and adjust regulator outlet pressure with a gauge • Carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply • Thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant • Run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints • Lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points • Fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances You should have: • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces • 2+ years' experience on domestic and commercial gas installations Pay around $3,400 per month, based on your experience.
