We are recruiting: we are hiring a site labourer in Tangipahoa Parish, Louisiana. The job is on a commercial building project. You should have: • Know how to mix concrete and mortar to the right ratio • Physically fit and comfortable working at height • Basic knowledge of hand tools like shovel, trowel and breaker On the job you will handle: • Break out old walls and concrete with a jackhammer breaker • Mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer • Bend and tie rebar with binding wire for slabs and columns • Pour and spread concrete, then compact it with a poker vibrator • Stack and store materials safely to avoid wastage • Wheel barrows of rubble to the skip and keep the site clean We offer $4,200 per month plus benefits.
