Now hiring: we are hiring a quality assurance assistant in Jackson County, Ohio. You will work in an electronics assembly workshop. Day to day you will check packaging, labelling and barcode accuracy before dispatch; calibrate and verify hand gauges before each shift; operate height gauges, profile projectors and coordinate measuring tools; compare components against approved samples and engineering drawings; inspect welds, paint finish and surface defects under inspection lighting; escalate recurring defects to the line supervisor or QA engineer. Requirements: • Strong attention to detail and accurate record-keeping • Good eyesight and colour vision for visual inspection • ITI or diploma in a mechanical or production trade 2+ years on the tools preferred.
