Tracked excavator operator — Grant County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a tracked excavator operator in Grant County, West Virginia. You will be based in a demolition and site-clearance yard. Day-to-day duties: • Backfill trenches and compact the fill in layers • Excavate trenches for water, sewer and cable runs • Strip and stockpile topsoil ready for reuse • Track the machine on and off low-loaders for transport • Clear sites, demolish structures and load out muck and rubble You should have: • Comfortable with GPS or laser machine control • Sound understanding of daily maintenance and greasing • Good awareness of underground services and exclusion zones $30 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
