HSE officer — Matanuska-Susitna Borough

Join our team: we are hiring a HSE officer in Matanuska-Susitna Borough, Alaska. You will be based at a busy construction site. The role involves: • Deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors • Record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date • Run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points • Verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates • Investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports Ideal candidate: • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot • Able to read and prepare RAMS and method statements $3,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Meals and transport allowance provided. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
