Rebar worker • Plaquemines Parish, Louisiana

We are recruiting: we are hiring a rebar worker in Plaquemines Parish, Louisiana. You will be based at a rebar fabrication workshop. Day-to-day duties: • Keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust • Form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions • Lap and splice bars to the specified lap length • Bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine • Assemble column and beam cages on the bench Ideal candidate: • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire Six days a week, one day off. Overtime paid at a premium rate. $3,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
