Reinforcement steel fixer wanted in Lenoir County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a reinforcement steel fixer in Lenoir County, North Carolina. Day to day you will keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust; install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat; lap and splice bars to the specified lap length; fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings; lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman; check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour. You should have: • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire 4+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift.
