Safety officer • Afikpo South, Ebonyi State

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a safety officer in Afikpo South, Ebonyi State. You will be based on a road and infrastructure project. You will enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment; carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift; stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action; deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors; take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry. You should have: • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot • Minimum 2-3 years on construction or factory sites • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
