Fire and safety officer • Warren County, Illinois

Great opportunity: we are hiring a fire and safety officer in Warren County, Illinois. You will work at a manufacturing plant. You will update the risk register and method statements (RAMS); stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action; take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry; enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment. Requirements: • Minimum 2-3 years on construction or factory sites • Physically fit for full-site inspections on foot • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot 4+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
