Great opportunity: heavy goods vehicle driver (Maryland)

Now hiring: we are hiring a heavy goods vehicle driver in Washington County, Maryland. You will be based at a container freight yard. You will couple and uncouple the trailer and check the fifth-wheel lock; secure loads with ratchet straps, chains and load bars; check load weight and axle distribution against permitted limits; report defects and book the unit in for servicing. What we are looking for: • Good knowledge of driving-hours and tachograph rules • Confident with manual handling and load securing • Valid HGV/LGV Class 1 (C+E) licence Rotating shifts.
