Great opportunity: argon arc welder (Kansas)

Vacancy available: we are hiring an argon arc welder in Sheridan County, Kansas. The job is at a pipe-fitting and pressure-vessel shop. On a typical shift you will tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run; inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut; sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size; feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces • Able to pass a weld test on the spot • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination Full-time, day shift.
