Estate gardener wanted in Assumption Parish

Vacancy available: we are hiring an estate gardener in Assumption Parish, Louisiana. You should have: • Good knowledge of common plants, shrubs and seasonal planting • Physically fit for bending, lifting and long hours outdoors • Understanding of pruning and watering schedules Day to day you will spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease; maintain compost heaps and the potting shed; weed flower beds and borders by hand and with a hoe; check and adjust sprinkler timers and irrigation heads; sharpen, clean and oil hand tools and mower blades; cut back tree branches and clear overhanging limbs.
