Goods-in/goods-out operative — Columbia County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a goods-in/goods-out operative in Columbia County, New York. You will be based at a regional distribution hub. Ideal candidate: • Able to lift up to 25 kg repeatedly throughout the shift • Strong attention to detail to avoid mis-picks • Willing to work shifts, nights and weekends On the job you will handle: • Pack items into cartons and seal them with tape • Report damaged or short-dated goods to the supervisor • Replenish pick faces from bulk storage • Operate a counterbalance or reach forklift to move pallets • Wrap pallets with stretch film and apply shipping labels • Pick orders from racking using a handheld scanner and pick list 4+ years on the tools preferred.
