Immediate opening: we are hiring a sample machinist in Rice County, Kansas. You will sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required; inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes; thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension; topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish; keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line; clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift. What we are looking for: • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
